Provide leadership for our branch service department
Assists and supervises technicians, including inspection and review of work to assure quality job performance
Schedule and coordinate new service appointments based on nature of complaint and shop capacity.
Review and process technician stories on a daily basis.
Assists with troubleshooting equipment problems, if needed. Making recommendations for effective repair path
Responsible for preparing service quotes and customer relations both over the phone and in person for walk in customers
Oversee that the service department is a clean and safe work area
Approves technician time and actively participates in monitoring shop performance, WIP, technician efficiency and other reporting as required by management.
Work with Corporate Service Manager to achieve overall company goals for service as well as branch location goals
May perform additional duties as assigned by leadershipQualification Requirements
HS diploma or equivalent with Trade School Tech certification a plus and at least three years as a Service Advisor in either an equipment or automotive service shop
General office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, typing 45 wpm and general knowledge of a 10-key calculator CRT/Data Entry. Aspen system experience a plus
Three year clean driving record and insurable
Ability to lift a weight of 50# or more, on occasion
Ability to solve practical problems and ability to read/interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Manage the warehouse for organization, cleanliness, attention to detail, etc.
Prepare parts and/or equipment for shipping, including necessary documents
Receive parts and/or equipment that comes into our facility from freight companies – document and verify quantities and condition
Must be able to operate a forklift and get certification
Assist with inventory counts
Assist the parts & service departments, as neededParts Responsibilities:
Sell parts for all associated product lines to customers calling or walking into the store
Fill parts requests for service technicians and salesman
Use computerized inventory systems, parts libraries and CAD drawings to look up and process parts orders
Order parts from suppliers and communicate lead times
Work with the Manager to ensure consistent work flow
Help support safety policiesKnowledge and Requirements:
Ideal applicant will have at least 1 year of work experience in shipping/receiving
Automotive parts experience preferred, but not required
Knowledge of shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities and shipping methods that are required to meet shipping and receiving schedules, is required
Must be a motivated individual, that is a self-starter
Forklift driving experience required
Must be organized and have the ability to multi-task
Must have good computer skills
Must be in good physical condition; you will be required to lift up to 50 pounds routinely during the course of your shift, and occasionally up to 75 pounds. This position will require lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, twisting and pulling on a daily basis.
Current driver's license with a reliable means of transportation and must be insurable
