Job Description:
  • Responsible for diagnosing and repairing John Deere turf equipment
  • Travel to golf courses, complexes and/or businesses in order to assist customers and address concerns, as needed
  • Ability to work without immediate supervision for extended periods of time
  • Maintain all equipment and ensure tools are in good working condition
  • Maintain general housekeeping duties in shop and property maintenance
  • Work with the Service Manager to ensure consistent work flow
  • Help maintain and support safety policies
  • Maintain paperwork documentation
  • Working conditions can vary throughout the day; it can be cold, cool, warm, hot, wet, dry and/or dusty at times
  • Ability to read, write and communicate with co-workers and managers
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience on John Deere equipment required.
  • Basic set of tools
  • You must be in good physical condition; you will be required to continuously lift up to 50 pounds routinely during the course of your shift, this position will require heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, twisting and pulling on a daily basis
  • Current driver's license and reliable means of transportation and must be insurable
Hourly, Full-Time

PART TIME PRODUCT DELIVERY DRIVER & BRANCH HELPER - Snohomish, Washington

We are a Regional Equipment Distributor seeking a Product Delivery Driver & Branch Helper. The positions primary duty would be responsible for the delivery and pick-up of new, and used equipment. We are looking for the right person for our TEAM. As a Product Delivery Driver, you’ll be delivering more than just equipment. You’ll play a critical role in delivering on our promise to provide our customers with excellent customer service. You’ll work in a fast-paced and physically engaging environment where you manage a daily delivery schedule to safely and securely load, deliver and/or pick-up golf & turf maintenance equipment and golf carts.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Load/unload equipment safely
  • Deliver & pick-up equipment in company provided vehicle as assigned
  • Must be a team player, that represents the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Keep vehicles clean and properly maintained, as assigned
  • Assist with shop clean-up and other duties around the branch, as needed
  • Complete customer service calls in a timely manner, as assigned
  • Travel required on occasion away from the local area, including occasional overnight stays and weekends, as needed
  • Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to all standards
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Friendly with good communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Valid state driver’s license, two years of commercial truck driving experience, and good driving record
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card
  • Must be able to lift and move (push/pull) heavy items and merchandise as needed
  • 3 – 5 days a week depending on business needs

WARRANTY & SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR - Portland, OR

Primary Purpose and Essential Functions:
To provide support to our service departments with warranty administration and with opening and closing repair orders.

General Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Review and close all Warranty repair orders, ensuring optimal reimbursement from our manufacturers
  • Stay current on all warranty guidelines/requirements and update team as necessary
  • Follow up on shorted credits and capture as much money lost as possible
  • Monitor recalls from all manufacturers and ensure compliance
  • Answer phone calls directed to the service department and follow up with customers in regards to their repair needs or any questions they may have
  • Schedule and coordinate new service appointments based on nature of complaint and shop capacity. Review & process technician stories on a daily basis
  • Responsible for preparing service quotes and customer relations both over the phone and in person for walk in customers
  • Oversee that the service department is a clean and safe work area
  • Approves technician time and actively participates in monitoring shop performance, WIP, technician efficiency and other reporting as required by management
  • Work with Corporate Service Manager to achieve overall company goals for service as well as branch location goals
  • May perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualification Requirements:
  • HS diploma or equivalent with Trade School Tech certification a plus and at least three years as a Warranty Administrator or Service Advisor in either an equipment or automotive service shop
  • General office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, typing 45 wpm and general knowledge of a 10-key calculator CRT/Data Entry. Aspen system experience a plus
  • Ability to solve practical problems and ability to read/interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Successful candidate will have a positive attitude, proven leadership skills and enjoy being part of a team
Hourly, Full-Time
Compensation: $15-$20 DOE
Hours: Day Shift, Monday-Friday

Job Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile General Ledger accounts
  • Process Journal Entries
  • Responsible for processing equipment orders from sales reps to invoicing the customers
  • Responsible for tracking current and future sales data
  • Order, track, receive equipment from multiple manufacturers
  • Calculate commissions per outlined programs for sales reps
  • Track equipment transfers between locations
  • Inventory Control and quarterly inventory audits
  • Settle with manufacturer for equipment sold to customer
  • Track and verify all manufacturers incentives have been received
  • Process lease documents for equipment sold on lease and verify funds have been received
  • Work with department managers and provide requested reports
  • May perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
  • Prioritizes work assignments and adapts accordingly. Initiates follow-up on pending matters. Responds to information requests and general inquiries or refers to appropriate resource
  • Backup Accounts Payable
  • Backup phones when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Accounting degree preferred
  • Understanding of Accounting principles required
  • Sales Administration experience preferred
  • Prior experience of at least 12 months in both Accounting and Sales Administration preferred
  • Must be a team player, that is organized, can multi-task and prioritize their workload
  • Must be a problem solver, with the ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new computer programs
  • Prior experience of at least 12 months in both Accounting and Sales Administration preferred
